BOOKING AND MEDIA

All sites will be allocated upon receipt booking form with required payment and Public Liability Insurance certificate. Confirmation of bookings and other correspondence will be via your registered email address.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Public Liability Insurance is a condition of your participation to the value of 10 million. Exhibitors must adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety Requirements.

Electrical equipment plugged in at your site must have a current ‘test and tag’ safety label. If less than 12 months old, proof of purchase date must be offered as evidence.

The Exhibition Hall is heated, sun lit, carpet flooring with power available. We encourage styling your Exhibit with promotional banners and furnishings to best represent your brand. No partition walls are provided.

Sites cancelled 30 days prior to the Fair date will be entitled to a refund less an administration fee of $200. Sites cancelled within 30 days of the Fair date will not be entitled to a refund.

Organiser means Danielle Cleary Events. Exhibitor means a person, firm or company whose signed application for the space has been accepted. Showcase / Exhibit site means any foundation, framework, building, sign writing, name or trade sign, or other feature of construction of display material erected by Exhibitor. Exhibit means any article, appliance or apparatus approved by the organiser for Exhibiting at the Fair.

Event dates and hours are planned for the dates and venue detailed on this prospectus. The organiser reserves the right to change dates and venues should the need arise. Exhibitors must clear their sites by the designated times and in the interest of security, entry outside of the prescribed times is not permitted without the prior consent of the organiser.

Application for Showcase / Exhibit site must be made via Ticketebo online booking accompanied by the required payment in full or as per payment plan. The Fair layout site plan will be allocated post booking. The organiser reserves the right to allocate, reallocate or change the site location and or refuse any application.

Materials for Showcase / Exhibitors shall be the responsibility of the Exhibitor. Heavy or bulky equipment that cannot be easily lifted will be moved/ removed by using outside subcontract equipment at the Exhibitors expense.

We’re supporting small business and allowing Exhibitors to share their expo space with a complimentary business.

Open flames, fuels and oils in any form may contravene fire regulations, therefore use of any open flame is not permitted.

Intoxicating liquor shall not be taken in the Fair without previous consent by the organiser.

Lotteries, Gaming and Betting legislations shall not be breached by an exhibitor, no collection of any kind shall be taken up without consent by the organiser.

Exhibitors may offer food and beverage ‘tastings’ and ‘sales’ to guests including alcoholic beverages, sell products and market their business to our guests.

The organiser, their sponsors or agents shall not be responsible for loss or damage to or caused by the Exhibitors goods, wares or merchandise arising as a consequence of loss by fire, water, theft, riot, accident, electrical failure, Model Talent use or any other cause whatsoever. Exhibitors and Runway participates are recommended to ensure that adequate insurance cover is arranged to satisfy their own needs.

The Exhibitor hereby indemnifies the organiser, it’s sponsors and agents against all claims, personal and property whatsoever and howsoever arising out of loading, unloading, lifts, ramps and otherwise in the transport and erection, conduct of, display or dismantling of Showcase Sites.

Cancellation, the organiser reserves the right to cancel the Fair without assigning any reason at any time. Exhibitors will be entitled to a full refund of Showcase Exhibit site fees only.

Canberra Fair ACT COVID-19 plan, risk management and marshalling strategy in place. Exhibitors to comply.

Exhibitors further obligations include i) to comply with any reasonable direction of the organiser concerning the erection and dismantling of Showcase Sites which the organiser may consider necessary for the benefit, efficient and orderly conduct of the Fair; ii) to remove and dispose of packaging materials and any other rubbish or debris from their site and surrounds prior to the Fair, during and post; iii) to confirm with all the statutory rules, provisions, regulations of any relevant Federal, State and Local Government authority; iv) to place suitable guards on all moving machinery or exhibits likely to cause injury to a person and property; and v) to make good any damage to the venue, roads, grounds to the satisfaction of the organiser; and vi) not to make, cause, permit or suffer to continue any undue noise or anything which in the opinion of the organiser, unreasonably obstruct, disturb, injures or inconveniences any other Exhibitors or guests.

If an Exhibitor or any person acting of behalf of an Exhibitor commits a breach of any of these conditions or other directions lawfully imposed by the organiser, they shall be liable to immediate forfeiture of their rights as an Exhibitor and of all fees paid.
